I hate it when people pretend they are more patriotic than me because they say that gay people getting married violates “In God We Trust”, and then follow it up with any number of ignorant, hateful, things.   You’re not patriotic, you’re just an ignorant fool.  The fact that I know about what came before 1950 indicates that perhaps I love this country more than you do.  I don’t want to forget what made America special in the first place.
